On a Plane


Can't wait to visit this gem [again] in person. I am en route to Paris and Rome for my family vacation! I'm a week late, but excited to meet up with everyone and explore Europe! Splurge vs. Steal: Wedge Espadrilles

The best part about wearing wedges is the all-around support, without loosing the height. I recently spotted a co-worker wearing the steal version, and was pleasantly surprised how similar it was to the pair I tried on at J.Crew. I may have to take a trip to Target this week, because these are hard to pass on. They scream summer and I could see myself wearing them with everything. And most importantly, Chrissy Show would totally approve! ;) Yep, that just happened. I made a Three's Company reference, ha!

My Picks: Lauren Conrad for Kohl's Summer Collection

I've always been a huge Lauren Conrad fan. Especially after my obsession with Laguna Beach and The Hills. But seriously, her collections for Kohl's have been quite impressive, staying true to the Lauren Conrad style we've all come to love - easy and breezy. The latest collection is very summer, very girly and I adore the romantic, lace and floral touches. The last few items of her summer line was released nationwide in Kohl's stores last week. Here are my TOP 6 picks (...and boy, it was hard picking just six):

Father's Day Gift Guide

My dad is by far the hardest person to shop for. Seriously, what do I get someone who has everything? Last year, my mother and I gave him the grill of his dreams. Hat Head

I've said it before. Unfortunately, I don't have a hat head. They just seem a bit overwhelming for my little head, so I've avoided wearing them at all costs. After all my trips to the beach, I think I'm having have a change of heart. Not only will I perfect my summer look, but I can go a little lighter on the sunblock. Bonus! Maybe, just maybe, I can find one hat I love [on me] this season.

Friday Finds: My Travel Essentials, Under $50

I love to travel, but the worse thing is be away from all the luxuries you're accustomed to at home. I was challenged to bring one carry-on for my trip to Vegas. And, although I'm up for any  competition, I have to say, it was difficult not having everything at my finger tips. Trending: The Romper

While I was in Las Vegas last week, not only did I enjoy lounging poolside every day and sitting front and center at the shows, I also spent quite a lot of time shopping. I never knew how many shopping malls there were in Vegas, and the selection of stores are insane! I hit the outlets, Caesar's Palace and the Fashion Show. During my trips, I picked up three rompers and wore them to death. The best part about this trend is the flexibility. I wore mine with flip flops and a wristlet during the day, and a pair of pumps and a clutch for the night out. Seeing how these ladies rocked their rompers, makes me want to purchase a few more!
