Trending: Mixing Prints

While it may seem like a huge challenge mixing prints, it's actually quite easy. And, it's a great way to create new outfits with old favorites in your closet. Follow these three simple rules to update your wardrobe in a snap:
  1. (COLOR) Find a "Home Base". Whether your mixing leopard, paisley or florals, be sure to have at least one color that repeats itself in every piece.
  2. (PATTERN) Easy Pairings. Stripes, plaid and polka-dots are always easy patterns to mix and match.
  3. (FABRICS) Keep it all in the family. Pairing silk with silk or cotton with cotton will keep your outfit uniform and polished.
